The Claus device is a motorized cable-driven hardware specifically designed for vineyards characterized by row-based trellis systems. Our IoT device is engineered to optimize operations in the vineyard, enabling efficient and precise plant management. Utilizing the metal cable, the device can be anchored to existing structures in the vineyard, such as poles or pergolas, and move safely along the rows. Claus is designed for early and localized detection of diseases or pests, collecting data directly in the field and making predictions regarding the vineyard’s final yield, providing a tangible competitive advantage in the market.

Claus is a motorized IoT sensor. The innovative patented cable system offers the perfect fusion of drone versatility and IoT device power. Claus is designed to operate autonomously in your field and can navigate with agility in covered environments such as greenhouses, covered production structures, and agrovoltaic systems, as well as in otherwise inaccessible locations.
Hardware
The hardware features an RGB camera, a multispectral camera, temperature, and humidity sensors. The device can be equipped with multiple different sensors: CO, CO2, soil moisture, wind, IR presence, brightness, NIR, NDVI, etc.
Furthermore, thanks to artificial intelligence algorithms and image recognition, a comparison will be made between real-time captured images and sample images from databases. With these datasets, it is possible to detect the presence of pests early and predict field yields.
Thanks to its patented cable-driven movement system, Claus can autonomously traverse the field without encountering obstacles.
With powerful artificial intelligence algorithms and computer vision, Claus can detect the presence of diseases or pests and send an alert to the farmer.
